Now, there are those of you who are photographers currently in the business, starting out, or simply curious. Today, I’m speaking to you.

Reinvention has become a part of life, including my photography business. So after nearly 30 years behind the camera, I’ve been asking myself three questions:

How have I stayed in the game with consistency throughout all the changes both professionally (film to digital, the invention of social media, etc.) to personally (establishing my business simultaneously with the birth of my son as a single parent, and being diagnosed with MS in 2008)?…

What are those steps? And how can I turn them into a formula for others to follow?

That’s where teaching comes in.

This spring, I’ll be releasing my first online workshop for photographers who want a simpler, more grounded approach to portraits and running a photography business.
