40 Faces 40 Voices
So many people that come to my studio hate to be photographed. They have shared with me that they feel self-conscious and no longer recognize themselves as they have aged. Many even have developed a fear of being photographed. To those of you reading this, who may echo these comments, I want to offer you solace. Almost all of us have looked back on a photo we once disliked, only to realize later how beautiful we actually looked. Through my new campaign, I am offering you all a chance to love yourself in the now; an opportunity to see yourself as those around you do.
I remember when 40 felt so far away. And now, it is further behind me than I care to admit. This has led me to wonder, if I could go into the future and speak to my current self, what would I say? What do I need to hear now, that only I would know how to say? I pose this question to all of you as I begin a new campaign: 40 faces, 40 voices… 40 over 40.
We are not twenty anymore (thank goodness). But that spark? It’s still there, let’s capture it.
